On the second day of our annual vacation to the Oregon coast from our home in Alberta, Canada, the transmisson in our 32 foot class A motorhome stopped shifting. I pulled off the highway at Silver Lake Mall in Couer D'Alene, and saw Silver Lake Auto across the street. I met Will Sando, who asked me to bring it around to the rear of his shop, and his staff promptly started to diagnose the problem. When it was determined that the transmission had overheated and burnt the fluid, it became clear that the problem was serious. Will provided me with a quote to remove and replace the transmission with a rebuilt, and I accepted his quote. The transmission was removed and sent to Spokane for rebuilding, and Will allowed us to stay in our RV while waiting for the transmission to come back the next day. When all the work was completed, and the road test done, the invoice was right in line with his quote. The rest of our vacation was trouble free, and the transmission performed perfectly. Thank you, Will, for your outstanding service.
